<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a06"/><p xml:id="pZW03p0054a0601">《大乘起世論》，中國佛敎禪宗僧人所撰典籍，作者不詳，一
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a07"/>卷。</p>
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a08"/><p xml:id="pZW03p0054a0801">本文獻以自設問答的形式，論述了禪宗修持諸多要義。前有
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a09"/>序文，後有結偈。作者認爲眞諦之門幽秘，卽使聖者也難以知曉，
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a10"/>必須行者本人親證。主張先須安心，並要善於發現與親近善知
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a11"/>識。如果不能得遇善知識，則難以證知眞諦實相。主張修行者必
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a12"/>須不起分別智，不起一念，不見一物，但又反對不作一事，不爲一
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a13"/>事的枯禪，主張行住坐臥，隨時都在禪中。問答部分的結尾，以機
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a14"/>鋒的形式，啓導學人不要執泥於語言文字。本文獻無論從思想
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a15"/>上，還是從總體風格上，都帶有濃重的禪宗南宗色彩，應屬於慧能
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a16"/>系南宗僧人所撰。</p>
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a17"/><p xml:id="pZW03p0054a1701">根據現有資料，本文獻在敦煌遺書中僅有一號，抄寫在伯
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a18"/>2039號背面。同件所抄者還有《五辛經》等禪宗文獻多篇（參見
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a19"/>《菩薩總持法》題解），抄寫年代約爲公元九世紀上半葉。首題作
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a20"/>「大乘寄世論」，序文中述及本文獻名稱時作「大乘奇世論」，但尾
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a21"/>題作「大乘起世論」。恐以「大乘起世論」之名爲正。</p>
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a22"/><p xml:id="pZW03p0054a2201">本文獻未爲歷代經錄所著錄，亦未爲歷代大藏經所收。是研
<lb ed="ZW" n="0054a23"/>究初期禪宗的重要資料。</p>
